This is an N scale 4-2-0 that I have been working on. I think there will be room in the tender for a Z scale decoder on top of the motor if I pile the wood over it. The General Sherman was the first locomotive on the Buffalo Bayou Brazos & Colorado RR. It extended from Harrisburg (just south of Houston) to Stafford's Point (now Stafford) in 1853 and eventually became part of the Southern Pacific Sunset Route.
My humble offerings for this week! Atlas 17,600 Gal Corn Syrup Tank Car kit, painted with Scalecoat II Black Paint and lettered with Islington Station Products decals. Prototype car was made in the late 1970's, this was leased to a subsidiary of Heinz foods to haul corn syrup. Branchline 50' AAR Boxcar kit, substituted A-Line Sill steps for the kit supplied plastic ones, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Dan Kohlbergs IC Decals. Original car was built in 1948 and rebuilt in 1967 and painted in this scheme versus the orange and black a lot of cars were painted. As it was close to the implementation of the ACI labels in 1969, I added them to this car. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Just finished detailing and weathering this Pacific Coast Shay #8, shown here pulling a mixed train on the Johnstown Branch. John
Candy, you've done it again. Though an assemblage of your usual reprobates and their female followers would add to the scene significantly.
Just ballasting track! And adding track, and track feeders, seem to be losing track of . . . . enough!
Of course, one male player preparing to break a pool cue over the head of the one wooing his personal camp follower would be an appropriate touch... Alcohol, testosterone, and youth... oh, those were good times... They would be even better if I remembered them.
