In one word, all I can say is "WOW!!!!" You guys are amazing. I feel honoured to be sharing this thread with you. With a little help from ye olde photoshoppe, this is my favourite image from 2007. The sky is the only modification. -Crandell

I have not been here for a few weeks. Between work and getting ready for the Holidays time has been sparse. I have been modeling I just have not had time to take photos and do much forum posting. The local was bringing back some empties and needed a little help so they had to double header. SNFF 2007 12 30 GP7B project Getting near the end! Assembled, decaled details added. Ready for weathering. (Needs couplers too!): Meanwhile, I'm on to other projects, working on re-numbering and numberboarding some (gasp!) non-Santa Fe locos - Lifelike Southern Pacific Black Widow SD7s. Thx to SW Chief over on the A-forum, for his suggestions of good looking fonts: Happy New Year, all!
For those who have been anxious to see the F45's I'm doing, here they are, fresh from the paint shop. MANY more details left to add now, but completion is in sight!!!
Some good looking shots. I have enjoyed this thread. NOW, here's the Non-glamor shot. Or "working on the railroad." I've had my layout in "disarray" most of the day replacing an old turnout w/ a DCC friendly turnout. Its all the way at the back, so I had to remove a building or two plus break out the "top side" creeper thing. That's the only way I can get back there and work "sanely".
Too cool! I love the way you left the bare stainless on steps (and handrails?) of the loco.. Looks very nice in 'Grande colors!
John Sing Great looking B-unit! Hemi The F45’s are looking real good! Wolfworks Nice looking locos! Kitbash Interesting equipment you have there!
This Woodland Scenics forklift (N scale) was poorly assembled in China. Everything was crooked and covered with ACC. I cut it all apart, replaced the wheels with nail heads, made a new headache rack with brass wire, and gave it a subdued paint job. It was the first project out of the box for the new Dremel tool from Christmas.
Todd: That is a very nice scene and a nice job on the fork lift. I like the Classic Metal Works box van, too. Did you do anything to it? What about the lift gate on the rear? I am thinking about taking mine off.
