The TCC board of directors, under the guidance of the D&RGW board, elected to get another U36B to accompany the HERSHEY'S unit they picked up a couple of months ago. It will be heading to the paint shop to get rid of the Kitty.
Now that's small... but nice work! I once saw a T gauge demo at a train show that basically occupied the space of an 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper... the guy had an RDC running on it and it just looked like a silver toothpick running around the layout... I can only imagine the fun of superdetailing an engine at this scale...
We even have our own forum now! Come for a visit! http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?forums/t-gauge.178/
Posted these in another area, but here goes again. Installed some of teh Woodland Scenics LED street lamps intown.
Montanan, I just saw your layout videos, you have a fantastic layout!!! Such great detail. What is the dimensions and how long is the mainline? Joe
The layout occupies two rooms where a wall was remover. One room was 13 x 17 and the room added was 9 x 13. The layout is a point to point built mainly for switching. Instead of having a spaghetti bowl of track looping over itself, the track only goes through the scenery one time leaving plenty of room for industries and towns. The layout is a point to point with a yard and engine facilities at each end. The run from yard to year is about 65 feet, but there are hidden staging tracks that allow for continuous running which brings the total distance to just about 100 feet.
