After we finished taking our rail fan pictures we were startled by an approaching trolley. Luckily we were able to step aside. This another shot from the Passenger Station Diorama.
Here is the Chessie U30B that I finished installing and painting the railings. It is an Athearn blue box. I used Creamcoat Tuscan Red as a good match for vermillion.
Great shots, all! For me, on business trip, so just re-posting one of my recent favorites from about 1/2 year ago: These are 1993-era Kato/Atlas GP30s, with the numberboards added and the lead unit re-decaled to have a different roadnumber. I never got around to posting the step-by-step photos I took of this project, if anyone is interested or has specific question, email me off-list and I can send you copies of the JPGs. (smile) Here's the GP30's posing for the end results: Sometime soon, got to get out the Bragdon weathering chalks and go at these babies!
Hey, Looking good everybody !!!!!!!!!!!!! I made it up to my layout this weekend. My cousin came over, with camera in hand . I didn't get a chance to fix the cars, trucks & building be fore he started shooting.here's one of many new pictures on my Rail Images acct. This is as far as I got before I got Sick. I hope you enjoy them. The LV engine was weathered by Scott Lupia. I have it's sister in the repair shop. It took a header off the table Saturday night A brick wall fell onto the mainline & well I now need to order some parts from Atlas.
