I intend to put this on the board later as part of the thread on valve gear. Thought I would run it by you guys and gal for criticism, so that I won't get criticized by turdrail. This is on the net, created by Bob Booty. I think it's great. His site leads to larger, color coded versions, and a lot of other info. What do you think?

I would get permission from Bob first.

Jim, he has already cleared it. He was thankful that I asked his permission to use it, as apparently many others have just taken it and not asked. I told him, and I will, give him full credit and post a link to his site.

How in the heck did you save that Jim? I'd like to have a copy of it for myself. It's really neat! [IMG]

Excellent Jim, extremely clear indication of operation of all the parts. Having handbuilt over 100 #1 scale brass locomotives, many with this gear, I know it all too well! Very satisfying to see it working, though [IMG]

Alan, all of the credit belongs to Bob Booty. Do you have a diagram of the Gresley third cylinder gear? That would make a fine addition to the thread! [IMG]
