With cold and dark skies in the background...Caught this local, with former SP power at the western edge of a branch line. Here it is switching out some tank cars today.

Cold? Yesterday dawned at 7*F... Chilly! 50's is car washing weather! Nice stuff. What kind of RR-served industry is around Vegas?
Mike, I hear ya on the 50's. It's was in the 70's and 80's here over the weekend and has since cooled into the 60's. Spring needs to just win out so we can enjoy it. Hemi, Hope you get some warm weather soon too.
Hemi, there are a wide variety of industries...lumber, paper, chemical, warehousing etc. They even have a container and auto rack unloading facility at the north end of town.
Mike, That's interesting to hear about all that industry. If you don't live in that area, all you know about Vegas is the gambling.
