    Hi
    Happy Holidays to all.
There must be someone in or around Utica ,N.Y. that has a camera!!!
I have been trying for two years to get photos of the 0-6-0 #6721 that was moved there from Dayton,Ohio in Sept of 1999.
I drove about 100 miles out of my way in Oct of 99 to take pictures of her at Dayton only to find that it had been moved just weeks before!!!!
I will pay for film, processing and prints of the engine if someone would take a few minutes to shoot her.
    Thanks

I WAS IN UTCA ON A COLLEGE TOUR WITH MY DAUGHTER THIS PAST SUMER. I FOUND THE OLD ERIE YARD, NOW SUSQUEHANNA & WESTERN, AND I SAW TWO STEAM LOCOS AT OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE YARD. I COULDN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHAT THEY WERE......
I'LL TELL YOU THAT I WAS NOT A NEIGHBORHOOD TO BE HANGING AROUND IN.
I WAS UNABLE TO GET PICS OF EITHER ONE DUE TO THEIR LOCATIONS IN THE YARD. ONE WAS WAY WAY DOWN AT THE FAR END. I ACTUALLY SAW THAT FROM MY CAR AS WE DROVE BACK OVER THE OVERPASS OVER THE YARD.
THE FIRST ONE WAS FAR AWAY ENOUGH ALSO THAT I WASN'T GOING TO WALK TO IT WITH CAMERAS AROUND ME. I KNOW BETTER THAN THAT. I WOULD HAVE FELT BETTER IF I HAD SEEN SOME RAILROAD FOLKS HANGING AROUND. BUT IT WAS QUITE LONELY.
HOPE YOU GET YOUR PHOTOS YOU NEED!
    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Thanks for the info on the situation on the location of MY engine. I can now understand why no one has come forth with a photo of it.
I don't want anyone getting hurt just for a picture.

Ron, I'm with you, surely someone from Utica or the vicinity can get a photo of that engine. Utica's only 22 miles from Little Falls. Maybe I'll have to call one of my old buddies who remained there. From what we saw on the Weather channel today, while looking for Siskiyou summit conditions, it doesn't look like anyone in upstate NY is going anywhere soon, especially in Buffalo
