CSX Customer News Service Bulletin: Update on CSX Rail Service in the Midwest Persistent rain and flooding in parts of the Midwest are causing delays in train operations in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. Rail traffic originating, terminating or passing through the affected areas can be delayed from one to three days. In addition, interchange traffic with western railroads has been affected by weather conditions west of the Mississippi. Rail traffic is being rerouted to minimize delays.
