I understand that Union Pacific FEF-3 #844 is down for some firebox repairs and flues. Any updates on what's going on with her? Also curious to know if anyone has purchased Ross Rowland's Love, The C&O #614?
Last I heard re: C&O 614, Ross Rowland did not get bids anywhere near the reserve price for it and will put it back up for auction again this spring if not sold sooner. He wants over $1 million.
Unfortunately he dosen't have someone like Chessie System who would probily actually buy it for $1 mill. Heard gates was looking at it?
