Well, the FURX units were rebuilt in the Alsthom shops in Canada. I know CSX has lease of 3000-3049, but I can't remember if they leased any more. As for St. Lawrence & Hudson, that's from back from my way (NY on the Hudson). Heard that this subsidiary of the CP had been merged into the CP completely, so those locos could be found anywhere on the system. I BELIEVE the STLH and a few UP units are wondering around the west. The most interesting think I have seen is a SOO LINE SD40 in the 700 series trieng to get up the grade with the rest of the train. It should be retired, very soon! The sound the thing made was deffening! it wasn't a grumble. more like "pound, pound, pound, clap, stall, hissss, pound and so on.
