I am unable to edit my posts. Is it no longer an option?

I believe you can edit a post up to something like 15 minutes after. We had to put a limit on it because of disgruntled users who would go back and trash all their posts. If you would like something edited past the cutoff, contact me or any of the moderators for the particular forum you have posted in and we will be glad to do it for you.

This is one subject the support team, moderators and administrators need to re-evaluate. The persons who trashed their own posts are no longer participating here and I would hope that translates, no more problems with editing. I'd like to see TB open up the edit feature and allow 24 hours. As it stands now it's about and (an) hour and a half (of freedom you have) that you are allowed to come back and edit. One of the features I used to enjoy about TB.

Editing: If you saw an oop's you could go back and fix it.

We never know when the next fit of childish pique will erupt. Some people have such thin skins today, it is nothing but sad. There are well over 29K actively registered folks here, and most have differing ideas or opinions. Most find a way to get along. But there will always be a few who spoil it for the many. Which is what we must consider.

I know of what you say all to well "childish pique," Ken said. Yes sir, saw that a lot when I wore my other hat, as an assistant administrator for a hospital. Had to work my way up starting as a shift supervisor for EVS to Dept. Head and then the AD position and saw things first hand.

What's the difference between child psychology and adult psychology? Their age. Sigh!

I don't think it would hurt to lighten up a bit on the time factor for editing.

    Thanks for hearing me out.

Edited add on: There are something's you can control and something's you can't.
