Twick9 aka Brian Newcombe. Just to inform everyone Brian passed away about a fortnight ago. He was a spectacular modeller in British n scale and his layout "Briford" was full of wonderful funny cameos. He was diagnosed with the big C last year and, so as not to burden his wife, he dismantled the layout. He then rallied and started building a smaller layout based on 3rd rail electric Southern Region of British Railways, and also had just bought his first U.S. loco for a switching layout. He shall be sorely missed this side of the "Pond" Bob Norris.
Sorry to hear of Brian's passing but thank you for reporting it Bob. All our best to his family. Charlie
