Very nice. One of these days many of these bridges will be gone or become bike paths. Jim

That first shot really does make it seem like a tunnel.

... weeeeell, from my POV, that's not necessarily a bad thing... I'm an AVID cyclist and many of the paths in this part of the state (SW OHIO) are built on old right of ways...

Indeed, it could be argued that a few of these structures have actually been saved because of their conversion to multi use paths. And, in a few areas, the paths themselves lead to access to rails that are hard to get to any other way.

One I took and one I found.
First one is over the Navigation channel near the Port of Catoosa, in Oklahoma. I have a really good close up one at home.
The second one is in Kleven ukraine

I absolutely love this one! :) We've got a few places on a branch here where some trees and bushes have encroached a little, and I always thought it was cool. But nothing like this!!! Simply Awesome!

Same effect but in a very different area, in Yucatan, Mexico, this time with a GP38-2 powered train. I shot that picture 4 years ago....

Thanks for the hmm, "tunnel" ideas. I have pics of the Bourne MA RR bridge if anyone is interested.
