Anyone having trouble with pics today. Every time I load 3 pics less then it says upload error, and more then 3 pics it says something about security token missing any thoughts. Ben
Unless your pix are hosted somewhere on the net, such as our own RailImages here, you can't upload directly from your computer to a thread. You need to use the URL or IMG links, either [u r l] XXX [u r l]or . The little icons above your message, as you are composing it, allow those links to be brought up. The one that looks like a postcard, with a stamp, is the IMG, and the one with a world globe with binocs or glasses is the URL. Click on one of them and type in the address where your photos are located. Hope this helps. :tb-biggrin:
Okay, neither then. The security token error is an occasional error that is unresolved but it comes and goes. Are you still unable to attach images to the post. Charlie
No I still can't post any pics. Same thing is happening error while uploading 2 or less pics and 3 or more there's a security token missing. I have reset my computer hoping that would help. Anyways let me know thanks Ben
The security token is a server issue but not a major one. That should go away. I'll look into it. Charlie
I'm sorry I was wrong. Sure you can upload into your private albums. I don't know what I was thinking. Perhaps I wasn't thinking? :tb-sad:
I'm still having picture upload issues. Just now tried to upload 2 images at once to my RI albums. It took one and ignored the other. Tried multiple times to upload the ignored one and it skips on through the last screen for editing title and description, takes me back prematurely to the album and the attempted download just ain't there. I appreciate all your hard work in this server upgrade process. I'm sure you'll get it all worked out eventually. Just wanted to share my scenario to perhaps help your troubleshooting efforts.
My photos usually run between 1400KB and 2100KB. The uncooperative ones are no different. I've been trying to upload others taken today to see if there's something on my end that is out of whack. A few photos got through, but most wouldn't go. I haven't yet found any differences. Any ideas?
I think those files may be too big. I have been looking all over, in Support and Railimages Development to try to find the limit on size, and so far have failed. Can any of you admins help? :tb-sad:
