No snow in this shot. Only a lot of rain. If you look, you can see where the rain drops are hitting the puddle in front of the loco.
Thanks Peirce! That is New York Connecting RR bridge #35 over Fresh Pond Yard- Queens , NY. This bridge was built by the New Haven RR, now used by CSX, CP and P&W to interchange with the NYAR. This is the line that goes up and over the Hell Gate bridge. Russ

Well, it was raining. The train was late. I was waiting for Amtrak in Lynchburg, VA to go to Atlanta.
A grey day by Grey One Needham Heights Commuter Rail yard. They seem to "store" a couple of trains with engine and cars there. Taken 10/8/05
Had to go out in the cold and wet today, to pick up a couple of items. Train happened to pass through as I was on my way home, so I stopped and shot a few photos of it, in the rain! Plus a short 30 second video at a different location, just out of town. Here it is, as it approaches my parking spot: Straight across from me: And just as it passes my vantage point: And for those folks that have the time/ability to download video clip(s), here's the same train seen, as it leaves Longmont: BNSF Video Clip Comments on video clip welcome - Good or bad!
