Very nice pictures, well composed and all so colorful! I love the trainshed at Milan and the streetcars too. (y)

Probably so. I found it odd that some had covers and others didn't.

Thanks sir. For every half way decent pic i post, there are 10+ more bad ones :D I really enjoyed how colorful the passenger train scene was everywhere we went. The big stations for the most part were impressive inside and out. There were a couple of exceptions but "WOW!" is an understatement. Still plenty more to come too.

The next stop is Turin Italy where we depart our train. There was a nice rake of wagons across the platform too.

With that, we exit the Italian railway station, walk around the corner where while still in Italy, we join the Swiss railway network. Here's our first glimpse

The little orange switchers and log cars were neat

This fella and friend were off in the distance and here is the best shot I could get. Time and fences were working against me. :D

And then we were off. What's cool is we go under this bridge around a loop and over it. There were a few loops on the line

Looks like it would be fun to railfan

While it really didn't register, we did see the open air cars that were not in use the day we rode.
