TrainCat - anyone have any contact with Bob lately

    Having had my share of problems with health issues in both immediate and extended family and having experienced losses in both I understand what you are going through 100%. My prayers go out to you and your family. You always take care of your well being and your family's well being first and foremost. Everything else takes 2nd place. Those that can't understand that need to get a life.

    I am deeply saddened by this news, but hope springs are eternal!

    Family and your own health come first and foremost, and this train stuff can languish without fear. We all understand how things happen in life. We are here to help, if we can.

    Bob, I know that things will get better, and I know it is tough. I could not imagine what this has done to you, nor what I would do if it was any of my 3 daughters...I know that it is always an issue, I have spent the weekend teaching my oldest to drive and the though of her getting into an accident scares me

    Spent some time talking with Bob Knight at TrainCat at the National Train Show. Due to some very serious health problems with his family, sadly, Bob is putting TrainCat on hold for the foreseeable future. He will NOT be answering emails or taking calls, and will NOT be attending any more train shows. He was hopeful that sometime in the future, he might be able to resume production of his really fine products perhaps limited one time runs. Personally I am very sorry to hear of this news, both his products and Bob will be missed amongst the model railroading community. I hope that soon the family health issues will be resolved.

    That explains why I haven't been able to get any response from TrainCat or TexNrails about getting some of his signal kits to do some signals from the article in the August Model Railroader. He should put something on his website so customers will understand why they can't get in touch with him, after all family does come first as the previous poster said.
