I have tried a few inventory programs for my model railroad rolling stock and am not completely happy with any them. I am seeking to try a few more before committing to using one. Any suggestions/recommendations?? TIA Pete
Hi Peter J, I hope you don't think this is a trivial answer, but I've been keeping my inventory in an Excel spreadsheet. The reasons are that I've got the software already [yes I need to save a $ if I can!], I can easily insert file references [into cells in the spreadsheet] to my model and prototype photos, I can insert comments about maintenance and changes I would like to make, and I can easily change the format as my needs change. It may not be too fancy, but it works for me. I'd be glad to send you my template if you're interested. charles
