The History International channel (Directv #271) is re-running the show on the Trans Canadian Railway today at 11:00 AM and 4:00PM EST.
darn, i was all set, setting up the VCR to tape it for me since i'll be at work.. Had that all set to go... turn to 271 (i have directv too).."For ordering information call blah-blah-blah".. Considering I like Canadian roads and whatnot, figured it was right up my alley. Can anyone give a quick rundown on it afterwards? Maybe I'll see if I can't buy it from history channel or something if it turns out pretty good.
I had the opportunity to catch this show. (Thanks for the heads up!) Not bad at all. Very basic info on the beginnings, backers, travials of building it. Settling the lands so there were shippers, etc. About what you'd see in an hour. More info would have required a longer presentation. Well worth watching. We should watch the tv listings and see if it will be re-broadcast. For those who might have missed it. I'm going to move this to the Ready Track Forum. Hoping others outside of N Scale will also be interested. Boxcab E50 [ March 09, 2005, 04:21 PM: Message edited by: BoxcabE50 ]
