If yall didnt know, Train Dispatcher 2 from SoftRail is now freeware. I downloaded it earlier and have been messing with it. If you want to keep trains on time, you better stay one your toes. Im gonna point this one to the gf, shes going to be a teacher, this would sure teach the kids organization...hehehe. Or drive them to drinking at an early age... P.S. A 5725 ft. train does not fit into a 4900 ft siding, dont ask me how I know... http://www.softrail.com
I actually had to search for it, seems like there isnt a link to it on thier page anywhere, at least that I can find. Sorry about that. http://www.signalcc.com/train2/td2freeware.html
Its a game, simulator, something like that. You are a dispatcher for a section of ctc railroad. You have control of the switches and the signals. Youll get different types of trains over the line at different times and speeds. Slow orders and MOW track warrants add some fun, so does one way track in some places. THe dwnload comes with five territories including two from the northeast corrider, one that freight mostly, and two others.
