Can anyone advise me if there are any tourist railroads operating during the Thanksgiving week around Cleveland, Ohio? Thanks. :)

Good news, yes, bad news is that the Polar Express runs are completely sold out. I see there are some 'regular' trains on the Friday after Thanksgiving. CALL THE OFFICE and see if they have space then, other than that, I think you'll be watching, not riding.

The most interesting railfan spot is the shops at Boston Mills Road, not far south of the Independence station. All the equipment is usually there. If you do go in there, identify yourself immediately to staff and ask permission, they will usually allow, just don't go wandering in there without that.

Thank you for the information. My wife is going back there this Wednesday for the holiday, (to meet daughter's in-laws) and was asking me if I could find out it there are any trains she might ride while visiting the area.
