WOW! Robin, nice photo. If you hadn't said it was taken from the CN Tower I would swear it was taken from a plane. Well, maybe not after I thought about it. I just remembered you posting other pictures taken from the CN Tower.
Think I posted this before but... It's still a great view even though all the railway activity is gone from the west side. That turntable is on the fourty yard line at SkyDome.
This is the view to the west these days. That roundhouse is gone and all that track. All thats left is the feed to Toronto Union and some track for GO trains waiting for the end of day commuters. There is a nine hole golf course where the roundhouse used to be. No, I didn't ask what the green fees were.
A VIA train going through the throat into Toronto Union. That's the Skydome on the left and a convention centre on the right.
