Wow Len!, Those shots are great. I have never taken Black & White, although my new digital camera has an option for that. (Seeing as I have been taking some NS pictures lately, I might as well revert to Black & White ) Harold
I finally got a good pic of an NS "unpainted" or primered? engine. Do they still not have the time to paint them or what? This siting was on the old Conrail Dearborn Division by Midwest Steel near Chesterton, Indiana. There are still some of these going through each week. Still a lot of different sites to see all the trains you want and photograph them.
Hi SSJim, I think Norfolk Southern is receiving the new locos in primer to speed up the delivery process, then cycling them through their shops in Chattanooga (SP?) TN. I tried to get a picture (again) of one, but it was very shy. I ended up taking a picture of it while it was about to cross over a highway overpass (above me). Not the best viewpoint, but all I could get Harold
