That's OK Mr. Morton, sometimes we don't like the drivers at crossings very much either. Happy New Year
Agreed! He has no knowledge of trains. And should have done a little research before writing. Had I submitted this for publication, I'd be seriously embarassed. He wrote: "Be philosophical. Try not to let trains irritate you too much. Trains are here to stay." No kidding? What's more, their schedules are not set up to please you. Someone needs to inform him, that when crossing the private property of any railroad, a company also busily trying to make money, you are driving on what is most of the time a generously granted to the public easement. Something the railroad did NOT have to do for you! "Any Time Is Train time!" Boxcab E50
I'd be willing to bet he's irritated at train crossings at the same time that he's trying to drive to Wal-Mart in order to buy cheap imported junk... that was brought to Wal-Mart via containers on a railroad...
Ooooooooo! And he was probably gabbing away on his cell phone made in_____. That also came the same way. Boxcab E50
That is the poor excuse of a newspaper in my hometown of Newton, Kansas. If you go to this page this is where people get to lodge anonymous complaints. Search the page for "train" and even go to the most recent archive to look for a moaning session about trains. Charlie
