    Holy brass poles Batman!

I just got about 200 brass N Scale line poles!

Looks like I am going to be hanging wire in Playa Desnuda

I hate to say it but that looks like work.

What gives with the beaver? Pole dancing and beaver. Are we...no we wouldn't...would we?

Did they send you a model of him so he could chew down those poles?

I wouldn't touch this with an N scale ten foot pole.

SOOOO many things I could say, but TB would banish me from the face of the Earth !!! Just out of curiosity, will the wires be live ??? I would like to have a short segment of overhead wires for my Penn Central, but I'm sure these poles wouldn't be correct. VERY cool you got them, and a VERY cool lead-in to the thread !!! :)

Honestly, no, it am not going live wire...the cost would be high and make diesel and steam hard to run

The poles are 1/16th inch brass rod, and I am trying to figure out where to place the poles.

I am thinking about using standard single line poles on the east half near the shell depot and stringing yard style catenary on the west half be D'Amato Lumber and the freight station.

This is a real old picture of east half of the layout

    And the west half..

    More modern pictures....east to west...

Out of curiosity, did you space the poles per the prototype or did you go for a closer "selective compression" spacing?
