I’m more curious about the cars and whose doing those in 1/220. Also, what are you using to replicate the chrome bumpers?

Ahhh, I have only pursued Carlo Pintos cars on EBay. I gave up on looking for others awhile back as there were so many poorly represented offerings in Z-scale. But was very curious where these were coming from.

But thanks for the link too, as these look nice. Although, I’m one of those guys that likes to paint his own.

My layout will capture the early 1960’s, so it’s always a challenge to find cars and trucks that fit that era. And these caught my eye.

It’s always encouraging to see more realistic products being added to Z-scale.

    Check out these: https://a2models.nl/en/1-220-z-models/g-31
Not as detailed, paint your own, but affordable and with some nice uncommon models from 1960s-1970s.

    E.g. this DeSoto:

Dirk is the man! Thanks for posting, once again amazing.

Somehow, it seems the two monks are lacking something... something brewed maybe? :)

it is quite amazing if you calculate how many cars you need to fill a train layout.......

You need / find them nearly everywhere!!!

    ..., Ups, nobody here,....

    ..., but here a really nice car ;-) !!!

    And more....

...and not only cars ;-) !!!

    Enjoy your Sunday!

    Best,
    Sven

Part 3 of the Old Port Shop has been realised quite accurate according to plan:

Dry gras and sand dominate the landscape .....

    .....what a boring yard, or?

But it works nicely as a small yard........

Its 180 cm is able to buffer even the complete Santa Fe SUPERCHIEF.

    Have a nice Sunday!

    Sven

    PS: ... a real legend!!

Fantastic as always! I really like your use of static grass making tracks look rarely used. Really looks real.

Interestingly, this yard can be used quite universally.

    What do you think?

    Best,
    Sven
