A company called 3D Train Stuff has announced that they will release the Tehachapi Pass line for MSTS in October. Herein lies my question to owners of MSTS: My system is a Celeron 533 with 256MB SDRAM and an ATI Expert 128 video card with 16MB video memory. Will this system run MSTS with a decent FPS rate, or do I need more system (processor, memory or video) to run the program? If my system will support MSTS, I am considering buying it but I don't want to spend the money on the software only to find out it will cost me another couple of hundred dollars in system upgrades. Any help would be appreciated.
Everything looks good except the video card. Here is what Microsoft says. ATI Xpert 128, Preformance runs at 2-4 FPS. FIXED with latest drivers. Please read the instructions prior to installing in a safe mode. ATI Drivers BTW, you need DirectX 8 installed.
