Tapatalk useful?

    I am wondering if the tapatalk app for the iPhone is worth bothering with?
    My phone seems to dislike this forum and I am looking for a better way to access it.

    Tapatalk is OK, a little quirky IMHO but I use it to view a few forums including Trainboard.

    Another option you might want to try is download the Chrome browser for IOS.

    Yes yes yes. It's good. I have a windows phone and am now using board express which uses Tapatalk's services. There are a few features missing, but it's better than the browser.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
    Ive downloaded the google chrome (which I am using right now) and while the keyboard disappears while typing the first 4 letters it does stay open after that.
    Ok, this is the first post using it :)

    I'm going to bite the bullet and buy tapatalk but I am wondering which version? 1 or 2?

    I use Tapatalk 2 on my Android phone and it is great. It doesn't access the blogs or RailImages but it lets me follow the forum and when I'm on the go that is fine.

    I use it a lot when I am away from home. I can still get to Railimages from the regular browser when I need it.

    I cant upload to railimages anyways.
    The upload aspect is hidden behind my search access thingy in the upper right of the webpage.

    Kind of a pain.

    I notice its the same with google chrome.must be an iPhone thing.
