    My pleasure.

Having been there and done that and believeing one of my associate's was going to take me out on a stretcher. One of my visitors, a good friend of mine who works at the Coroner's office, he walks in....what the hell do you think I thought. Gosh!

Today's medicine is amazing but has some lasting side effects. Shoot, the desert tortoises move faster then I do.

Sounds to me like you are doing fine and will have many more good days for family and model railroading.

    Latest Update:

As some may know...I was having problems with 2 different FVM ES44AC I had purchased new. Motor tabs that would twist out from under the ligtboard tabs. I did get a hold of Matt @ FVM and he sent a new mech. I've been running it now for 3 days...all day. This new one seems to be working ok. So I am happy :) Matt was great to talk to on the phone and great to work with.

I've been doing some ballasting and putting down some grass in the "Schoolhouse Horseshoe" area and up to "Jeans Bridge". I got my butterfly style passenger platforms today for "Jeans Valley Passenger Depot". I'll get those assembled tomorrow and setup at the station. Then I can ballast and put some grass down on that section of the layout. I'm working ballasting around the end of the aisle and up to the start of "Lucky Penny Yard".

I'll ballast the rest of the mains behind "Jeans Valley" and the back behind "T.H.E. Homstead" before I tackle "Lucky Penny Yard" itself. I have a few more buildings to get done and the road done everywhere.

    But...its progressing nicely anyways... ;-)

I hate ballasting. Atlas flex not so bad but, Unitrack can be a pain in the @$$. Well, best of luck and don't call me if you need help. Grin!

    Just one of THEM weeks....

I had ordered and finally received my butterfly style passenger walkways on Wednesday. Here it is Monday night and I got exactly TWO put together! There are 8 altogether for a total of 4 feet...which just so happens to be the exact length of THE Wifes passenger siding :)

Now...before someone says "Why the heck is it taking so long to put together such easy platforms?"...let me explain.

Last Monday THE Wife told me "Why dont you take some time off from working in there and run some trains?" Soooooooooo...thats what WE did every day...all week ! Seven days about 6 hours a day....her and I...just running trains !!! :) :) :)

I ran my freights...she ran her passengers. I explained to her how to start trains slowly and how to get into her passenger station slowly...so as not to throw her passengers all aroung the inside of the cars...LOL. When she would go inside...I would park her passenger train and bring another freight out of Lucky Penny Yard ! At times we had 4 trains going at a time !! I even did some switching and made up some freight trains in the yard...It was a blast !!

Now...before any of you go feeling sorry for me...just remember...I took one for the team here guys. No work done...except those 2 platforms !! Tough job...but someone has to do it...right ? ROFLMAO :p :p :p

Tomorrow I will get the rest of the platforms put together and glued down at the passenger station...so I can get some more ballasting done around the corner and up to the entrance to Lucky Penny Yard ;-) Then I will have to ballast the elevated area behind town. That requires leaning over everything for about 10 feet. My back is gonna let me know it before I'm done !!

    Like I said...Just one of THEM weeks...LOL

    :teeth:

Sounds like the perfect reasons not to make too much progress!

    Hey Gary...
THE RV held up GREAT !! I had measured from the cross braces to the floor before the snow. At the height of the white stuff ( about 18 inches) I measured again. The roof had only dropped 1/8 inch !!! :)

The only problem with a 'vacation' from work...sooner or later vacation is over and its back to the grind. I think thats starts again today LOL.

I know that feeling all too well. Is this due to exceeding the legal fun limit? :)

That's pretty. A Zephyr on the passenger main shows a prosperous company that's doing things right to attract lots of patrons.

Wellllllllll...not really a Zephyr ;-) Cobbled together passenger cars I got from BarstowRick a few years back. They work well enough for THE Wifes Excursion Train. She does love her E5 though :)

Have to agree Jim. Matt was great to work with ! I'm just hoping everyone understood that I wasnt mad at Matt...more me just being flustercated at getting 2 locomotives in a row that didnt run right. Matt made it right. He even asked for the old mech back. I am hoping he wants to look it over to see what the problem is/was. He did send a mech "From the new run" and it seems fine. I'm happy...all is good :)
