Swapping out old for new (2018) Bachmann GP40 body shell

    Hi all
    Anyone know if/how to swap out the old Bachmann GP40 body shell for a new 2018 model? The old chassis seems a little wider than the slot allowed in the new body shell... (I know the couplers are different, too)
    Maybe the old chassis just cannot go into the new body shell?

    Yup. And the Bachmann online shop only offers the 2018 shell as a shell - if you want to buy a loco you seem to get the old model.
