Are any of our members planning to attend this event, May 29-June 1 at Spencer? There are quite a few first generation cab diesels which will be on display. Some are operational, some are not. Doyle McCormack's Nickel Plate PA 190 is traveling there, as well as Norfolk and Western class J 4-8-4 611, to be restored to operation there. I am some 3,000 miles away and can't attend. I sure hope some of you will share your experiences and photos with us if you attend this what should be a great railfan event.
It's a shame I am unable to attend as this seems to look like quite the event. I too am hoping someone will provide coverage.
