Okay this is where I'm so far down the rabbit hole on research that I have to come ask for help. So I have a pair o Stewart Hobbies F3/7/9 shell. Long Story SHort, they bit the dust but I learned a lot from them. We all start somewhere. I know that Stewart's F uits used Kato's CHassis and Drive Motors and how the side windows lock them into place on the cradle. I also know that Bowsers Executive Line continues to use a similar system and tooling comparabl to the original Stewart Shells back in the day but slightly better.

My big question is about set of F7 Shells I'm looking to pick up. THey are tagged s Stewart Bowser. Now the grills look like the etched Farr Grills but the tooling looks to be the old Stewart Hobbies era. Was there a line of locomotives produced under a joint Bowser/Stewart name when the combind together? And If there was, did they use the Kato chassis, or did they have their own and would they fit on the old Kato chassis (I would assume so but I igured I'd ask anyways.)? Thanks i Advanced, my research keeps turning up a lot of dead ends.

Call Bowser...ask to talk to the parts guy. If anyone knows the answer to your questions he does.
