Does anyone know what the correct color is for the forward facing lenses on steam loco's marker lights??? Thanks ------------------ When in doubt, empty your magazine.
Chris, I'm assuming you are talking about Classification lights. They were either white or green, depending on the classification of the train (extra or scheduled). Bill is correct, the forward facing lights are classification lights. For a scheduled train they would be dark, unless a second section was following, then green. Extra trains were lighted white. Barry Draper
