Does anyone have images of the 40' van type trailers SP used in their Traction Motor pool? Any images and discussion would be great.
Found this image http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rsPicture.aspx?id=1027511 Would like to an image that shows the landing gear under the front of the trailer.
Note the doors on the trailer seem to be missing all together. Wonder if this was common practice? If so, not much use for the rest of the covered van huh.
Looks like a Fruehauf Z van But I can't be held responsible for unseen modifications. The visible modifications are certainly numerous enough.
Here is my version in HO scale, I had an old Athearn BB van and tractor kit. The trailer has a updated set of wheels I had in a junk box, and after just a few mods its almost ready for service, still gotta paint the Red and Orange lights.
