For those interested in whats goin on with the next heritage unit, this is what I'm hearing. The SP unit will be unveiled at Roseville,CA on August 19th. Of course the date is subject to change.
As excited as I was for the Grande ACe, this Espee one is on my must-see list as well. Must see pics! Well, in a month or so..
This is from another poster on another form so take it for what it is worth.... "First is the C&NW will be on Saturday July 15th at the (Metra) Ogilve Transportation Center near Chicago Union Station. And the SP will be on Friday August 19th at the J R Davis Yard in Roseville. " Brad

I hope they did a better job that on the DRGW unit. Sorry, Grande fans, but that paint scheme just didn't do it for me- kinda like a bowl of fish ice cream. And I LIKE the Rio Grande. That aside, I too await the unveiling, still wondering what a Big Ace would look like in MStP&P, T&P or KO&G colors..........
