As a kid I had American Flyer "S" gauge. Middle "60s" to changed to "HO". Became an avid model railroader in the early seventy's with a number of diff. layouts. Move out of my parents house and became an arm chair railroader. I was still going to swap meets and hobby shops and buy items to box up and put away. Got married early "80s" and raised two kids. More arm chair railroading then anything else. My daughter got married and I now had a empty room so I changed to "N" scale and traded off all my "HO" items for more "N" scale items. The layout started as 2 - 2 foot by 4 foot sections. I was running straight Dc and converted to DCC and love running more then one train without all the block hassle. So I am enjoying my retirement now and playing with trains again!
