Some of the trees are in the ground.

After a long hot summer of moving my small part of a local mountain I finally have a few trees in place. Most of the rest will be planted before the snow arrives in Jan/Feb.

Dave this reflects already a great atmosphere!

I have the impression, from what I can see that you have a garden with some serious slopes.

This will be good for building some bridges and trestles [IMG]

Keep posting on the progress you make!

    Hi Paul

The back yard has a natural slope of about 35 degrees.

This kind of terrain just crys out for early, short wheelbase, Colorado Southern stuff. Better yet, the Kettle Valley had an even more spectacuilar line and their West Summerland station was just down the road about 25 km. No one builds anything even close to what they used for power so that will have to wait or be left to the serious scratchbuilders.

I'm trying to build an expansive "flat" prairie landscape in a very small space.

    One bridge.

    Cheers
