Today as part of my consist, I had the CSXT 9120 and 9122. When I got to Stanley Yard (Toledo), the CSXT 9121 was there. These are all still in Chessie paint and all formerly GP40s. I was able to determine that the 9120 was the C&O 3790 and the 9122 was the B&O 4027. All I could determine on the 9121 was that it was CSXT 6629. Could research that if I wanted to, but I just thought I would throw out the information to anyone who might be interested. And no, I didn't take pictures.
Rick, that is quite a coincidence to have three numbers in sequence, effectively side by side. Unfortunately, I have no info on B&O or CSXT lineages, but thanks for sharing.
What? According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSX there are no engines left in Chessie paint! And when I posted http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=77286 I didn't get a correction.
Maybe I should also clarify that these are what I call "robot commando units". Technically known as RCPHE4. Merely a control platform for remote control operations, meaning if you couple one of these to a regular locomotive, you can operate said loco by remote control.
Rick, hasn't the 9121 has been hanging around there for quite some time? Good to see the others are there now too! I love driving past the yard there and seeing the kitten on the ocassions that I have to head back to see the family. Now if they could just get them all into one consist without any other power;-)
I took the 9120 (B&O 4027) back to Willard from Toledo on June 9th, and where it went from there I don't know. A friend took a couple pictures of my consist as I came into Willard that evening, but I can't seem to transfer them from the e-mail to my computer and then to a forum.
I don't need them to be powered. I was just stating that it'd be nice to see them all together by themselves in a photo.
