    OK !
Those pieces are called tighteners. They are part of the railway mechanical traffic control system system. They are placed beetwen signal box and turnouts or semaphores and help to keep metal wires controlling those devices tightened.

It is time to prepare details for platforms: Loudspeakers, information plates, lights (non-working):

    Pawel,
Trees look fantastic! Really does make a difference, especially how you have them arranged.
Do you make your own trees or are they pre-made and if so, who makes them?

Spruce trees were made by small Polish company FREON. They do not have their own shp or www. Some products can be foud here: https://www.plastmodel.pl/228-freon
The do have FB profile: https://www.facebook.com/ModelarstwoFreon/

The other trees are my own production. Technique to produce them is described in post #154.

Hi Pawel, nice details coming up. Are those lights / lamp posts 3-D printed? Shapeways..? I’m still looking for good, near to scale, affordable, non-functioning lamp posts :)

Light posts are laser cut in carton. They are old production of Hugwa. I am afraid they are not available any more (maybe somwhere some "old stock"...). I just finished my last pieces. This cartoon is rather thin - To make one post I had to glue two pieces. I do have some of them as a photoetched parts. They are even thinner. I have to glue 3 of them to have one post.

Matt - how much posts do you need ?

Pawel, I didn t recognize the Hugwa work, I have some of their electricity poles in carton. Did you make lampposts out them? Looks really good. To answer your question, I don’t know yet. I may give starting with the electricity poles a try. First focus however is a US themed layout so I guess that requires another type of lamp post.

Your work is inspiring, however your speed somewhat intimidating  :) (y)

    Matt,
Sometimes I do have good speed and sometimes I go into another hobbies or simply do not have good mood for modelling...

I probably have remaining 5% od new decals sheet and I can not finish this for two or three weeks. It is probably 30 minutes of work...

I started to install all the small items on platforms. General view:

It seems that morning newspapers were not very interesting:

    North exit light semaphores:

W4 signs (white cross on black board) - very unussually mounted on light posts:

One thing we all count on is Pawel adding the most minuscule details. The waste paper in the bin (in Z scale, no less!)? Wow! What are the W4 signs for? Warning train crews of crossing or crosswalk? Where to spot the engine to have the coaches spotted properly on the platform?

W4 is the sign for the place of the head of the train to stop to have the coaches spotted properly on the platform.

I think backyard road looks attractive as well:

It is time to add some life. The car on the platform was inspired by prototype photo: https://www.bazakolejowa.pl/index.php?dzial=stacje&id=3322&ed=0&okno=galeria&photoid=77454

Still some details to be produced and added. Catenary masts and corrugated sheet shed were made:

Are the catenary masts made of photo-etched metal? They look great!

Yes they are photoetched. Actually I adopted four loriginally longer masts to make those two.
