Thought I would start a thread for folks to show their JHM vehicles. I may be in a minority but they've been around for a long time and I'm sure some of you fine folks have one or two on your layout. I have quite a few. I often like to modify them just for something different. Here's a photo showing a pickup getting a rebuilt motor installed and a 1911 delivery car that I'm currently turning into a small home built flatbed truck. There's also a delivery wagon in the background, a true transition period. Let's see yours!

Reminds me of pulling a motor, way back when I was a kid.

    Is Jordan a kit manufacturer?

Yes but I just now read that the owner died and production has stopped. I don't know if they will resume production or not. :(

    Amazing work!

Here's my humble entry; an abandoned truck in the ghost town on my layout.

Excellent photos! These vehicle kits really let a person use their imagination. It's a true tragedy that the owner of Jordan Highway Miniatures died and left the company in storage. I hope someone can step up and carry on the product line. Surely some model company could buy the interest and carry on the product line.

I just finished this 1911 Delivery Car that I modified into a pickup. Hey! What's that in the back?

    Wow Jim,
Those look outstanding! You really are an artist with these Jordan kits. Really good stuff.
What is that in the back of that truck, could be a big old barrel of beer. Hhhmmmm.

Tonight I built this Fordson tractor. Very aggravating little kit to build.

Were these metal kits or plastic? I liked the still Jim, but you need to move it down in the hollow. Them revenuers might find it!

I've never seen an old truck that carried it's own fuel source! :D
Great work, Jim. I don't have anything to share, but your work provides inspiration.

Plastic. Really good, really detailed, and a whole lot of work. I built two. I love 'em, but everything they do is awfully old for my 1952 pike. I should post photos. The Ahrens-Fox piston pumper has 130 parts!

    Tweezers are called for...
