Trying to decide on a switch stand. I'd like to see pics of them installed in your layouts. What I'm looking for is something very realistic and operating in HO. I'm willing to do significant work for something "right". So post a pic of your switch stands, and tell me about 'em.
I'd prefer ground throws, but I'd not rule out an upright stand. Wolfgang - Those look NICE! Does the lever on the stand actually throw the turnout, or is there some other mechanism for actuation? I was hoping for something that was fully functional, as in move the lever on the stand / ground throw, and that moves the turnout points.
