I kinda like Thomas over the Flying Tiger, but then I'm just a big kid at heart. Though I doubt if I'd get much sympathy or cooperation from the Cheyenne team...LOL
Russell, did anyone throw any tough questions at him? Over on Trainorders, there has been a scathing criticism of him and the "new" steam crew. Supposedly no work has been done on 4014, and both 844 and 3985 are not only out of commission, but have been damaged.
Everyone was well behaved and avoided bringing up any "controversial" subjects although a lot of that was eluded to in whisper sessions during the breaks. I have heard stories of 844 and 3985 getting a corrosive boiler wash that damaged the tubes, lawsuits over sexual harassment and other claims. Hearing him speak, he sounds very professional and knowledgeable so it is hard to discern if there is anything to all the allegations. I guess we will just have to let the courts figure all that out. UP seems to stand behind him.
