SD40-2W in Central Texas, Who'd a thunk?

    Caught this Candian National SD40-2W at Temple, Texas in the BNSF yard:

    Weird seeing this Safety-cab equipped locomotive here in Central Texas... :teeth:

    Cool, I shot that unit in Saginaw (Fort Worth, TX) on Sunday! Also nabbed what appeared to be an SD50F a few weeks ago but I haven't checked the number yet to see exactly.

    No kidding! Is the paint flaking that badly, or is that a flaking 'Map' unit with the north american map in the scheme?

    Yes It Is Flaking Paint Due To Severe Winter Weather Here In The Great White North And The Map Is Also For Real!

    LOL, I guess we know now how CN paints those engines... Grey underneath, then the black and Spaghetti Noodle logo over it..
