    I have a 19" set to 800 x 600. I like to recline while I surf, without squinting.
I used Hit-O-Meter and its statistics say most people use 800x600, IE 5.0, but I tweeked my site for the 640 x 480 guys, and centered everything so it looks right on the higher resolutions.

I had not realised that people were still using 800 x 600 so much! Seems kinda old-fashioned [IMG]

I have made my previous sites with this low res. in mind, but my new site published last night is set for 1024 x 768.

I can run 17in DELL at 1600 x 1200 gabillions o'colors... but need a electronic telescope to see anything..

    I run 1024x768...

best to set it for 800x600 when doing buusiness websites... thats what most have.

club and social sites I do at 1024x768.. they look good, but remember to try it at 800x600 for the majority that cant goto 1024x768.. If they cant see your page they wont come back or tell others...
