    Gary,

Don't despair ! My grain elevator was started more than 10 years ago and mothballed, in the mean time, by lack of the necessary parts to complete it. Now it's (at last) complete.

Your feedmill is a GREAT structure and I'm sure that you'll end up with a greater structure when you add all the details that are now available.

No despair, J-L. [IMG] Mine was begun whilst I was working in Hong Kong in '98 for something to do. Yours is a fabulous structure - it only serves to say never rush a good model! [IMG]
I had the same problem you had in getting the right parts. I was contemplating doing my own etch parts for safety ladders and walkways (having done some walkways using styrene strip and mesh) but now Alkem has the walkways it's somewhat easier. The railings are scratch, but the safety ladders may be GMM or scratch. Decisions, decisions! [IMG]

Thank you everyone! As mentioned above, now with the new etchings available it should be easier to complete. The main structure as you see is almost complete and there is a truck loading hopper and bins that are seperate to the main structure which haven't been photographed (I should do that) but completed. As J-L did, one of the bins was made from PVC pipe with strip banding.
It has been an interesting, if deferred, project to date working off photographs alone. The joys of selective compression. [IMG]

Thanks to J-L kicking this off I took a couple of happy snaps and added them. Same URL as above - don't forget to refresh/reload the page if you have been there recently! [IMG]
