What is the water to glue ratio to make my own scenic cement from Elmer's and water. I only ask as it's been awhile since I made a mixture thanks for any help
I use 40% glue , 30% water , and 30% alcohol . Also wet down the ballast with 91% alcohol B4 gluing it . And real stone ballast works a LOT better as the Woodland Scenics brand tends to float ......Mike
Thanks Mike couldn't remember the ratio. Yes know about the WS sawdust/walnut shell ballast gave me many fits in the past. Prefer AR&M ballast as I can get the colors i need. Thanks for the mixture reminder totally forgot about the IPA in the mix.
