    yes very true however it does have inserted brick work, just need to add some weathering then signs etc

    Yes very true what i haven't posted is the time i have spent cleaning and adjusting all the switches lol i can hear you now and i know i should have powered through the frogs

    With my decision only to operate weathered equipment on the layout I weathered a couple of grain cars and a transfer caboose

    That is something I need to do with all my stock. Nothing stays pristine on a real railroad.

    I have a whole range of bottles of chalks, just need to get around to a weathering session. My Alcos are way too clean! As are the freightcars and buildings.

    I saw an article by Tony Koester in Mrr last year it's an excellent product and much easier to apply than chalks
