Two biggies in the NG world passed away. David Hoffman passed Nov 23, 2022. Per a post on HOn3 Models group on Facebook. David did models for NWSL as well as his own line. The Dunkirk as well as a vertical boiler shay and climax the NWSL sold were some of his models. Harry Brunk passed Feb 27, 2023. Harry's layout and story were in NG&SLG for years "Up the Clear Creek". I stopped in Cheyenne a couple of years back and saw the layout. It's at the depot museum there in town. They also have a display of the different models he made as well. Really an impressive layout. RIP to two modelers of HOn3 that made some big contributions..
R.I.P. to both of those fellows. I know little of Harry Brunk, except for reading that name. I did have personal contact, by mail and phone with David Hoffman. A very nice gentleman, always quite pleasant to speak with him. I still have a couple of sets of his HOn30 passenger car trucks in my supplies.
Buddy, you need to get down to Cheyenne sometime and see his layout. It'll do your NG heart some good.
