As Matthew commandeered my laptop to do his thread on our Barnetby visit, he beat me to the punch So here is my report on the day When we arrived at 0850 a couple of fans told us things were very quiet, with only a couple of freights in the last hour! It was still a while before the first locomotive arrived, a class 60 we had seen delivering some oil tanks near Lincoln. It had followed us down the line light engine, going back to Immingham. 60082 still in Transrail paint. [ September 28, 2005, 11:55 AM: Message edited by: Alan ]
66229 approaching off the Scunny line. A train is also signalled towards Lincoln. [ September 28, 2005, 11:56 AM: Message edited by: Alan ]
Keep 'em Comin' Alan! I love that end of platform train spotting location. It's like they're coming right at you.
66176 is approaching with a string of empty HAA coal wagons. I had not seen these in use for some time. [ September 28, 2005, 11:56 AM: Message edited by: Alan ]

Freightliner 66607 comes west with loaded oil tanks. I really like the paint scheme on these locomotives, especially when they are very clean like this one. [ September 28, 2005, 11:58 AM: Message edited by: Alan ]
