I have this car, what is the best color of yellow to paint out the Muessel Brew markings and Script? I am going to be going with S. and B. Beverage Co. where is silver edge is..the car I have seems to be almost a YELLOW ORANGE, I would like to keep the same road number though. Anyone have any ideas on what yellow I should use? I asked in freelanced model railroads fb page all I received so far were likes and no answer. Tom
This being a printed car (instead of a screened car) I would think that either alcohol (90% or higher) or just patience with a Xacto knife would remove the lettering.
put micro-sol on the lettering let it sit for a few min. then put tape down and rub it. then lift the tape. repeat until the lettering comes off. there is a u tube vid. on how to renumbering a engine. doing it this way.
